Online qualifying rounds will be held in America, Europe, Asia, and the host country, Japan. The top players from each region will come to Tokyo in December 2019 to duke it out for the right to participate in the championship match.

Entry Conditions

Anyone who meets the following conditions may enter.

Host Region (Japan)
1 You are 16 years of age or older at the time of entry. (If you are a Japanese national, you are in high school or above.)
2 You are able to participate in the final tournament held on December 21, 2019 (JST) in Tokyo, Japan.
3 Join "RAGE 2019 Winter powered by SHARP," the second offline qualifying tournament to determine the team that will represent Japan, to be held at Makuhari Messe (Japan) on November 23rd, 2019 (JST).
4 You are able to promptly prepare and submit the documents and certificates necessary to enter the tournament.

*Minors eligible to participate in the second qualifying tournament (Japan Team Finals) or the final tournament must have the consent of their guardian or legal representative. They do not need to go to the venue as long as they can be contacted.

*Participants are responsible for any costs incurred in preparing and gathering the necessary documents and certifications for the tournament.

*Minors in their country of residence eligible to participate in the final tournament must have the consent of their parent or legal representative. It is necessary to bring either a parent or legal representative to the venue in Tokyo, Japan.

*Participants are responsible for any costs incurred in preparing and gathering the necessary documents and certifications for the final tournament.

Those who wish to participate, please apply by tapping on the “Tournament” button in the application during the entry period.

Entry Period Following maintenance on October 2, 2019 (JST) until before the qualifying tournaments begin.

*You must complete the process during the entry period. You cannot enter after the first preliminary tournament has begun.

*Participating regions are determined by the source IP at the time of entry. Participating regions will not be changed once decided.

Battle

Battles will be conducted in each region to determine a ranking. Rankings will be determined by Battle Points given or taken based on the battle outcome.

*In case of withdrawal of persons eligible to participate in the second qualifying tournament (Japan Team Finals) or final tournament, their entry right will be transferred to the next highest-ranking player.

*Those who acquired rights to enter the second qualifying tournament (Japan Team Finals) or final tournament as well as those who may acquire rights to enter the tournament will be notified via an email within the app. Please respond to say whether or not you can participate by the specified date.

*Failure to respond by the specified date will be considered a withdrawal from the tournament.

*The organizer will pay the round-trip transportation cost to Tokyo, Japan and accommodations for individuals who confirm participation in the second qualifying tournament (Japan Team Finals) and for individuals plus two companions who confirm participation in the final tournament.

*Participants are responsible for all other costs (food expenses, etc.) not covered by the organizer.

*Special emblems are an in-game item. Designs differ between entry regions and ranking.

*In-game item rewards will be distributed via in-application mail. You must claim rewards within 30 days of distribution.

Second Qualifying Tournament

“RAGE 2019 Winter powered by SHARP” will be held at Makuhari Messe on November 23rd (Sat) in the Host Region (Japan), where 16 finalists will face each other in the offline second qualifying tournament (to determine the team representing Japan).

Outcome Best of Three (BO3) If communication is lost or you draw in a battle, it will not count and you will need to play again.
Number of Registered Decks Register 3 decks in advance. You cannot register multiple decks with the same Heroes.
Deck Usage Restrictions Select 2 decks from the registered decks for use in each game. Heroes and Hero Arts from the selected decks will be revealed to the opponent before the match. You may not use a winning deck from the first round in any subsequent rounds. Used decks that resulted in a loss or draw can be used in any subsequent rounds.

Terminal Environment You must use the devices provided by the organizer for the battles. The only accessory you may bring is a touch pen. You must use the headphones provided by the organizer.
Rewards
1st to 3rd Professional License entry right to the final tournament.

*In the event that a person eligible to participate in the final tournament withdraws, their Professional License entry rights will be transferred to the next highest-ranking player.

*Those who acquire the Professional License entry right will be issued a professional license from JeSU (Japan eSports Union).

*The organizer will pay the round-trip transportation cost to Tokyo, Japan and accommodations for individuals plus two companions who confirm participation in the final tournament.

*Participants are responsible for all other costs (food expenses, etc.) not covered by the organizer.

Final Tournament

A group of 12 contestants – made up from the top 3 places in the America, EU and Asia Pacific regions, plus the top 3 places in the 2nd offline qualification tournament (Japan National Team) in the Host Region (Japan) – will meet in the Final Tournament at the Tokyo International Forum (free admission) on Saturday, December 21.

・Using unsupported devices or unofficial operating systems

・Using inappropriate names that violate public morality

・Conspiring with other participants to manipulate the outcome

・Transferring, trading, or loaning entry rights to the final tournament

・Entering from multiple regions or with multiple accounts

Violating the application’s common Terms and Conditions

・Engaging in any other behaviors that the organizer deems inappropriate

*The event may be photographed or filmed by the sponsor or press staff.

*Articles regarding pictures, movies, or coverage may be released through the official TEPPEN website, the application (TEPPEN.ch), or other media.

*Upon entering the tournament, participants consent to any photos/movies/coverage and disclosure of that information.
