[Ver.6.0.7] Regarding Balance Changes

The following balance adjustments will be made in the version 6.0.7 update.

Thank you for your continued enjoyment of playing TEPPEN.

We are committed to encouraging a wide variety of useful decks and strategies that players can create by combining Hero Arts and cards. We have gone through with some planned balance adjustments for this purpose.
Hero Arts and some cards will be adjusted to help create new deck archetypes. Along with that will be adjustments made to some cards that are easy to create advantageous board states continuously.

Please see the following for each balance adjustments.

Resistance Hero Zero (AZ 012)

Before:

[MP:7] [Attack:2] [HP:5]

<Rush>
When played: Return the unit in front to the EX Pocket, then deal 2 damage to all enemy units.
<Energy>: Give the enemy Hero -3 Art Points, then gain +1 Attack for each Art Point reduced by this effect.
- Attacking: Gain +2 Energy Points.
- When your Hero Art is used: Gain +3 Energy Points.

 

After:

[MP:7] [Attack:2] [HP:7]

<Rush>
When played: Return the unit in front to the EX Pocket, then deal 2 damage to all enemy units.
<Energy>: Give the enemy Hero -3 Art Points, then gain +1 Attack for each Art Point reduced by this effect.
- Attacking: Gain +2 Energy Points.
- When your Hero Art is used: Gain +3 Energy Points.

 

Joe (AZ 002)

Before:

[MP:3] [Attack:2] [HP:5]

<Ascended>: Deal Pierce Damage to 1 random enemy unit equal to the number of times friendly red units have had the <Ascended> status this battle +2.
Ascended Count: 0

 

After:

[MP:3] [Attack:2] [HP:5]

<Ascended>: Deal Pierce Damage to 1 random enemy unit equal to the number of times friendly red units have had the <Ascended> status this battle.
Ascended Count: 0

 

Anubis Necromancess III (AZ 009)

Before:

[MP:3] [Attack:1] [HP:7]

When placed on the field: Deal 1 damage to 1 random enemy unit.
<Energy>: Deal 1 damage to 1 random enemy unit 4 times.
- Attacking: Gain +2 Energy Points.
- When your Hero Art is used: Gain +3 Energy Points.

 

After:

[MP:3] [Attack:1] [HP:6]

When placed on the field: Deal 1 damage to 1 random enemy unit.
<Energy>: Deal 1 damage to 1 random enemy unit 4 times.
- Attacking: Gain +2 Energy Points.
- When your Hero Art is used: Gain +3 Energy Points.

 

Spirit (TDD 040)

Before:

[MP:5] [Attack:2] [HP:7]

<Frenzy>
When placed on the field: If this unit is <Frenzied>, give 1 Spirit Unit Card in your deck +1/+1.
Death: If this unit is <Frenzied>, place 1 Spirit Unit Card with an MP cost of 7 or less from your deck onto the field.

<Immolate>: Gain +2 Attack and <Flight>.

 

After:

<Frenzy>
Death: If this unit is <Frenzied>, place 1 Spirit Unit Card with an MP cost of 7 or less from your deck onto the field.

<Immolate>: Gain +2 Attack and <Flight>.

 

Ghost Pals (TDD 046)

Before:

[MP:6] [Attack:1] [HP:6]

<Frenzy>
When placed on the field: If this unit is <Frenzied>, place 1 Spirit Unit Card with an MP cost of 6 or less from your deck onto the field.
When an enemy unit dies: Give all friendly units with <Frenzy> +1 Attack.
Death: Return up to 2 Spirit units from your Graveyard to your deck.

<Immolate>: Gain <Flight> and <Combo>.

 

After:

[MP:6] [Attack:1] [HP:6]

<Frenzy>
When placed on the field: If this unit is <Frenzied>, place 1 Spirit Unit Card with an MP cost of 6 or less from your deck onto the field.
Death: Return up to 2 Spirit units from your Graveyard to your deck.

<Immolate>: Gain <Flight> and <Combo>.

 

Vega Donna (TB8 045)

Before:

[MP:5] [Attack:3] [HP:5]

Resonate: Gain +2 HP, then randomly Lock 1 of your opponent's empty board slots for 10 seconds. (Up to 1 time.)
Whenever Lock is removed: Gain +2 HP, then return 1 random enemy unit to the EX Pocket. (Up to 1 time.)
<Coordination>: 1
Give all friendly units +1 Attack.

 

After:

[MP:6] [Attack:3] [HP:5]

Resonate: Gain +2 HP, then randomly Lock 1 of your opponent's empty board slots for 10 seconds. (Up to 1 time.)
Whenever Lock is removed: Gain +2 HP, then return 1 random enemy unit to the EX Pocket. (Up to 1 time.)
<Coordination>: 1
Give all friendly units +1 Attack.

 

Ninjutsu-Using Tanuki (TB8 050)

Before:

[MP:1]

Randomly Lock 1 of your empty board slots and 1 of your opponent's empty board slots for 5 seconds.

 

After:

[MP:3]

Randomly Lock 1 of your empty board slots and 1 of your opponent's empty board slots for 5 seconds.

 

The Anticipated Battle (TB8 053)

Before:

[MP:4]

Return 1 enemy unit with an MP cost of 5 or less to the EX Pocket, then Lock that slot for 5 seconds.
If there are 2 or more Unit Cards with <Coordination> in your hand or EX Pocket, gain +1 MP.

 

After:

[MP:5]

Return 1 enemy unit with an MP cost of 5 or less to the EX Pocket, then Lock that slot for 5 seconds.
If there are 2 or more Unit Cards with <Coordination> in your hand or EX Pocket, gain +1 MP.

 

Snow Garm (AZ 059)

Before:

[MP:3] [Attack:1] [HP:6]

When Attack becomes 2 or higher for the first time: Gain +3 HP.
<Growth>: 3
Lv. 2: Sacrifice 2 Life, then give 1 Unit Card with an MP cost of 5 or less in your deck -2 MP and add it to the EX Pocket.

 

After:

[MP:3] [Attack:2] [HP:5]

When Attack becomes 3 or higher for the first time: Gain +3 HP.
<Growth>: 3
Lv. 2: Sacrifice 2 Life, then give 1 Unit Card with an MP cost of 5 or less in your deck -2 MP and add it to the EX Pocket.

 

Hittite Hottaid (AZ 063)

Before:

While in your hand or EX Pocket: When a friendly unit is placed on the field, give this card -1 MP.
<Energy>: Destroy 1 random enemy unit.
- Attacking: Gain +2 Energy Points.
- Decimate: Gain +3 Energy Points.

<Rush>
While in your hand or EX Pocket: When a friendly unit is placed on the field, give this card -1 MP.
<Energy>: Destroy 1 random enemy unit.
- Attacking: Gain +2 Energy Points.
- Decimate: Gain +3 Energy Points.

 

[Hero Art]

*The ability adjustment of Hero Arts is also applied to Hero Arts after changing the skin.

Charge Shot (X Hero Arts)

Before:

[AP:21]

Give all friendly units "When HP is boosted: Gain +1 Attack." (This effect does not stack.)

 

After:

[AP:19]

Give all friendly units "When HP is boosted: Gain +1 Attack (this effect does not stack)" and "Attacking: Deal damage to the unit in front equal to this unit's Attack (effective for 1 attack)."

 

*Cards affected by the rebalancing will reap the same number of souls required for their crafting between the release of ver. 6.0.7 and the release of ver. 6.1.
