People often wonder which element and Hero they should use since there are so many in TEPPEN.
This article would like to give some advice to the people who often think to themselves, “I want to know which element and which Hero best fits me and my playstyle!”

  • There are four elements in TEPPEN: red, green, purple, and black.
  • Each element has different Heroes that have special qualities to them.

1. Recommended Element and Hero Chart

Try out this Aptitude Chart to find out which element and which Hero is best for you!
Each question has two options, A and B, so choose the one that closest relates to you.
The Hero at the end of the chart will be the Hero most compatible with you.
As of now, there are more Heroes than the eight introduced in this article. We plan to update more as time goes on.

■ Ryu

Just like what you’d expect from Ryu and his famous Shinku Hadoken, he excels at dealing damage directly to his enemy’s units.
His style of play is dealing direct damage to units, destroying them, weakening his opponent’s defenses and then attacking.

Rathalos excels at strengthening his friendly units.
Giving his friendly units abilities like <Flight> and <Rush> along with powering up their Attack, Rathalos delivers a single, yet devastating attack to his enemy to take them down.

X is extremely proficient at increasing his friendly units’ HP.
Increasing his friendly units’ HP, X utilizes their bulk to outlast his enemy’s units, eventually wearing them down and providing a window towards victory.

■ Chun-Li

Chun-Li’s three Hero Arts differ from each other, one offense-oriented, another defense-oriented, and the last being one to increase your MP. Because of this, her style of fighting will change as well depending on which one you choose. You can react to any situation if you master her Hero Arts.

■ Morrigan Aensland

Morrigan Aensland is a Hero that toys with her enemy before seizing victory. She utilizes tactics such as halting her enemy’s units with her Hero Art Temptation to open up her path towards victory.

■ Dante

Dante is a Hero that utilizes the mechanic Resonate, strengthening his units by using Action Cards.
Once he puts a unit with Resonate onto the field, Dante uses Action Cards to disrupt his opponent’s plan while at the same time getting stronger.

■ Albert Wesker

Albert Wesker is the king when it comes to brining his units back from the grave. By aggressively playing units with <Revenge> during the early and mid-game, Albert Wesker is able to take over during the late game by overwhelming his opponent with enhanced units.

■ Nergigante

Nergigante is a Hero that trades off his own Life and units in exchange for powerful abilities.
Because you have to constantly assess the risks versus rewards while battling, Nergigante is not recommended for beginner players. However, for those who want to dominate with a Hero who specifically specializes in offense, Nergigante is perfect for you.

3. Other Heroes

There are other, new Heroes that offer different playstyles aside from the ones in the Hero Chart.

 

 

■ Jill Valentine

Jill Valentine utilizes the ability Explore to add special Action Cards into her EX Pocket, using those cards to edge the battle in her favor towards victory.
By using these Action Cards proactively in the early game, Jill will be able to gain an advantage that will allow her to take control of the mid-game and onward with powerful cards that get even stronger depending on her Explore Count. Using these cards properly will light her path to victory.

Nero is a Hero that uses <Growth> to power up his friendly units.
Nero possess powerful Hero Arts that can instantly change the tide of battle. Combine that with units that have <Growth> will allow him to take control in an instant and advance to victory.
