They say the statue was fine the night of the incident.
Since Central Park was closed right up until the ceremony started, the only person who could have gotten close to the statue and destroyed it would’ve been Larry who emerged from under the unveiling cloth when the incident was discovered.

 

Testimony: Loud Noise

I guess it was about 2:00 a.m. on July 1— early in the morning on the day of the ceremony.
I was fast asleep when suddenly, I got woken up by a loud noise.
It sounded like it was coming from the square where the fountain is, but I didn’t see anything strange when I looked out of the window.



Saikyo Witness Dan

One of the security guards assigned to the
Central Park fountain. He was on duty on the
night when the incident took place.
He maintains that he ran to the scene after
hearing a loud noise at the time of the crime,
but didn’t notice anything unusual.

The Central Park statue was designed in his image, though it might be hard to tell, seeing as the damage to the statue has caused it to lose its head.



Unveiling Ceremony

The ceremony to unveil the statue of Mayor Cody to the general public, held at the fountain in Central Park.
The mayor himself will unveil the statue at 10:00 a.m. on July 1.

 

Episode 2 – Deepening suspicions! Decipher the hints hidden in the Login Bonus and the EX Grand Prix!

Defendant Larry pleads not guilty, but there’s testimony that an orange figure was seen flying through the air on the night of the incident.
This description matches that of Larry’s, who was wearing an orange jacket.

First there was a loud noise, and then I saw some guy in orange flying through the sky!

Inquiry: Whereabouts

So I went to Central Park in the morning, and when I got there, the cage was empty!
I asked the guy in the hut if he saw anything, but he said he was asleep when it happened…Anyway, I didn’t do it!



An Incident Uncovered

The crowd’s cheers turned to astonished gasps when the mayor pulled the cloth from the statue.
The statue’s head had fallen to the ground, and clinging desperately to the ruined monument was a man trying his hardest to fix it.
After seeing that, anyone would assume he was guilty…but not me.
I believe that Larry, my client, is innocent.

A popular superhero TV show set in Neo Olde Tokyo, in which the hero, the Steel Samurai, battles his nemesis, the Evil Magistrate.
It seems a special show is scheduled to take place soon.

Episode 3 – The Crucial Moment! The Login Bonus will reveal the moment of the crime!

There are whispers that demon gatherings are held late at night in Central Park.
Trying to get pictures for her demon gathering special feature for spirit medium industry magazine “Oh! Cult!”, Lotta Hart set up a camera by the fountain.
As it happens, that camera caught the crucial moment of the statue incident.

Perfectly Timed Shot

This photo was taken automatically at 2:00 a.m., July 1.
It shows the moment the statue was destroyed, but while there’s a visible figure in the shot, it’s difficult to identify them.



Lotta’s Camera

A programmable camera that triggers the shutter when it detects loud sounds.
Lotta placed this near the fountain, facing the statue. However, she was chased out of the park afterwards.



Lotta Hart

A self-proclaimed freelance camerawoman.
She puts her life on the line to get the next big scoop.
The camera she installed caught the moment the crime took place.

 

Courtroom Record 3: The Demon Gathering

Article: Demon Gathering

This article ran in the June 28 edition of a
spirit medium industry magazine. It discusses a
gathering of demons that took place in Central
Park. Allegedly, a giant demon and a horned
demon met late in the night in front of the
statue of Mayor Cody, due to be unveiled to
the public on July 1. They performed some
sinister rite, which caused the area to then
be subjected to a highly-localized freak
cold snap.



Wendy Oldbag

A security guard assigned to the Central Park fountain.
She claims to have seen demons gathering in front of the statue at the fountain late at night on June 18.



Frank West

Francis Algernon West, better known by his byline, Frank West.
A freelance journalist with a superhuman physique that lets him cover stories in even the most dangerous areas.
He was responsible for the article in „Oh! Cult!“ about the gathering of demons.



Chatterbox

It took about three hours for the reporter who covered the demon gathering for „Oh! Cult!“ to interview the witness, and it was a one-sided conversation.
He learned that she saw the demons on the night of June 18—information that could have been learned in about five seconds…

 

Episode 4 – The truth is revealed! Search for evidence from the incident in the Special Mission and Chronicles!

Larry’s lawyer Phoenix Wright, with the help of his assistant Maya Fey and others, will investigate the incident.
Will Phoenix be able to successfully exonerate Larry…?!
The courtroom battle against Miles Edgeworth, the prosecutor who asserts Larry is guilty, starts now!

Episode 5 – Larry is innocent? Prove Larry’s alibi through the Login Bonus!

Larry is seemingly on the ropes in the face of Miles Edgeworth’s cross-examination when it’s revealed he has an alibi.
Larry testifies that at the time of the incident at 2:00 a.m. on July 1, he went to eat ramen after work. Larry’s innocence is proven!
Abigail, who has newly drawn the ire of the mayor, is then suggested to be the culprit, but he also has an alibi for that time.

Courtroom Record 5: The Blue Orbs and the Demon Hunter

Blue Orb Article

This article ran in the June 28 edition of a
spirit medium industry magazine. It discusses
mysterious stones called Blue Orbs, which were
retrieved from the Central Park ruins. Some were
used in the statue of Mayor Cody scheduled to
be installed in the same park, with the
remainder presented to the mayor as a gift.



Gloria

A self-proclaimed demon hunter’s agent.
She suddenly appeared before the mayor and
offered to introduce him to a hunter who could
uncover the truth behind the demon gathering
covered in „Oh! Cult!“.



Devil Hunter’s Pitch

It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mayor. Have you
read this article? Your new statue seems to be
attracting demons. If you leave things as they
are, you might find yourself dragged down into
Hell with them… Hee hee. I can introduce you
to someone who’ll solve your demon problem.



Interest in Blue Stones

I represent one of the top professionals in
the business, and that means she doesn’t come
cheap. Hee hee… Although, she did offer to
cut a deal in exchange for these blue stones.
What do you say, Mayor?



Statue’s Eyes

The blue stones used for the ruined statue’s
eyes have gone missing…
Which means that someone must have
stolen them from the scene.

Underworld Broker

Well, I think I’ve got just the thing for you.
Want to take a look? I promise you’ll like
what I’ve got in store…



Dynamo

The underworld broker from Larry’s testimony.
It seems that he made the arrangements for the
Steel Samurai’s opponents, but both his identity
and subsequent whereabouts are unknown.



Regenerador

It might not look special at first, but its
powers are the real deal. It can regrow its body
parts, making it impossible to leave lasting
damage on it! Not even the Steel Samurai’s
Samurai Spear stands a chance against this
thing… I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!



Shadow Devil

Behold: a towering monstrosity, the dark sheen
of its gigantic body set off by the blaze of its
single blood-red eye! Perfect for the role,
wouldn’t you say? But that’s not all! It can
disassemble and reassemble itself at will!
Even if the Steel Samurai lands a crushing
Samurai Slap, it’ll pull itself back together
in no time at all.



Brachydios

Take a look at this striking fellow! See its
massive front limbs, protected by that
glossy ultramarine carapace? See how
its head juts out like a horn? But the real
attention-grabber is the green stuff it
secretes. If you want to see fireworks,
look no further!

Episode 6 – The real culprit is…? Participate in the EX Grand Prix and find the culprit!

The next to be accused is the person who was interested in the Blue Orbs, Trish.
A similarity in the signatures on the contract reveals that the agent Gloria is Trish in disguise.
However, she insists that although she may have took off with the statue’s eyes after the incident, she wasn’t the one that destroyed the statue.

Psyche-Lock

She’s obviously hiding her identity!
If I can present proof of her relationship
to Trish, I just might be able to get
Trish herself to testify!



Cody’s Request

A document signed by Cody, formally requesting
an investigation into the gathering of demons.
It’s co-signed by Gloria, the agent, thereby
formalizing the contract.



Report from Trish

A report on the demon gathering, requested by
Mayor Cody. It’s been signed off by Trish
to conclude the job. The documents were given
to the mayor by Gloria, Trish’s agent.



Fearsome Witness Trish

The mysterious devil hunter who Gloria
introduced to the mayor. She’s still never
shown herself in person, but it seems that
she always takes care of the contracts
Gloria sets up.



Midnight Encounter

I was letting my little buddy drink some water
at the fountain, just like always. Anyway, he
got soaking wet, so I dried him off with a
cloth that had conveniently been left nearby.
That’s when the blonde girl showed up.
We talked for a minute, and then she left.

Meanwhile, the formerly missing Brachydios is found in the Central Park forest.
Brachydios was brought to Central Park by Larry, along with Sasquatch and Anteka, to play the villian in the Steel Samurai special show.

Will Powers

The actor who plays the Steel Samurai, the
popular superhero. He provided testimony about
the actors playing the baddies in the special
show.



Will Powers‘ Testimony

I heard it about it from Butz before the
incident. He said he’d found three „special
guests“ to be the baddies in the Steel Samurai
special show. I don’t know what he meant,
but…whatever he meant, it can’t be good.



Secretive Delivery

Yeah, I was the one who organized bringing
those guys into Central Park. But I did get
permission from the security guard! Come to
think of it, he did seem strangely interested
in them… Not that I can blame him. Those
guys are something else!



Open Cage

A cage that had been left wide open, found
after the incident. It’s daubed in green paint.
Only a small number of people know the code.



Footprint Tracking

Missile used his famous sense of smell to
track the footprints left by the escapee…
A trail that led that Detective Gumshoe into
a massive hole.
…How did that get there?



Fist Mark on the Head

The Brachydios that was discovered in the
Central Park forest. There’s a mark on its head
that suggests it was punched. But what idiot
would punch a gigantic, aggressive monster?

 

Courtroom Record 7: The Forensic Survey and the True Nature of the Green Paint

Forensic Survey

Seems that Ema, the aspiring forensic
investigator, is going to find some „scientific
evidence“ at the scene using her tools of the
trade. I’m not sure if Luminol is going to help
us much right now, though…



Green Paint Examination

Scientific inquiry has given me the answer!
That green paint is, in fact…Brachydios mucus!
And let me tell you, this mucus is incredible
stuff! Look! It can change color, from orange
to green! This is the discovery of the century!

Episode 7 – The truth of the incident! Track down the culprit in this campaign!

The culprit is Dan, who was on shift as a security guard at Central Park that night!
Dan who’s goal is to spread the Saikyo groove, thought that if he could defeat Brachydios, he would get more followers. So the night of the incident, he challenged Brachydios.
But a perfect counter sent Dan flying through the air straight into the mayor’s statue, breaking it.

 

Courtroom Record 8: The Background of the Crime

Tender Lender

Whaddaya mean you had ZERO income in May!?
Huh!? You think I got money to lend to someone
who ain’t got a snowball’s chance in Hell of
payin‘ it back!? Now scram, and don’t let me
see your sorry mug again!



Lazybones

Devoted to the humble motto of „Live easy, make
money,“ the rookie security guard spends his
days lazing around, even while on duty.
„I’m not lazing around! I’m thinking about
how to spread the Saikyo groove!“



Abrupt Shift Change

After witnessing the gathering of demons on the
night of June 18, Mrs. Oldbag all but forced
Dan, a younger guard, to take the night shift
in her place from June 19 onward.



Provocation Legend

No matter what I tried, I couldn’t get
ol‘ Punchy to wake up…so I gave him a
„little something“ to make him look lively!
Unfortunately, it worked a little too well…



Desperate Search

He was a sorry sight, but still he continued
his search, running desperately through the
forest in the dark of night. But there was no
sign of his target… He must have gotten away!



Mountains of Stuff

The messy security guard room. There’s a locker
for staff use. The locker door is ajar, perhaps
because of the cardboard boxes jammed inside.



Saikyo T-Shirt

A strange T-shirt found in the locker in
the security guards‘ room. It’s covered in
bizarre illustrations. There was an absurd
number of these T-shirts…were they intended
for sale?
