[Ver.4.0.5] Regarding Balance Changes

The following balance adjustments will be made in the version 4.0.5 update.

Thank you for your continued enjoyment of playing TEPPEN.

We are committed to encouraging a wide variety of useful decks and strategies that players can create by combining Hero Arts and cards. We have gone through with some planned balance adjustments for this purpose.
The following balance changes will be implemented.
- Hero Arts will be adjusted to help create new deck archetypes.
- Many players have had trouble creating viable options and countermeasures against decks that directly damage the opponent’s Life, which can limit their play experience. Therefore, adjustments will be made to cards and Hero Arts likely used in these decks.
- Adjustments will be made to some cards in the Standard format that too often singlehandedly create advantageous board states.
- The effect of Halt will be adjusted, as its current ability to stop the progress of a unit’s Attack Gauge and reset its attack time at the same time prevents the unit from attacking longer than what is written in the card text. This makes it easy to interfere with the board in a one-sided manner and limits countermeasures.

If the target were to be attacked, they will not counter.

Before:

Give 8 Pierce Damage to 1 enemy unit, then deal 4 damage to adjacent units.

Scar of Humiliation (RYU 011)

Before:

Deal 3 damage to enemy Hero.

After:
[MP:5]
Deal 3 damage to enemy Hero.

 


Claire Redfield (JILL 005)

Before:

When played: If your Explore Count is 3 or higher, deal 6 damage to the enemy unit in front.

Heartless Experiment (COR 165)

Before:

Sacrifice 3 Life.
Give 1 friendly unit +2 Attack.

Sacrifice 3 Life.
Give 1 friendly black unit +2 Attack. (Effective for 1 attack.)

 


Psycho Power (COR 166)

Before:

Sacrifice 3 Life.
Give 1 friendly unit +2/+2.

Selfish Predation (COR 173)

Before:

Change Form (Nergigante Hero Arts)

Before:

If your Hero's Life is 20 or less, give all friendly units in your hand, EX Pocket, and on your field +1/+2.

After:

If your Hero's Life is 20 or less, give all black units in your hand, EX Pocket, and on your field +1/+2.

 


Dancing Dead (Oichi Hero Arts)

Before:

Deal damage to 1 enemy unit equal to the number of Unit Cards in your Graveyard.
If a unit dies from this damage, your Hero gains +3 Life.
Unit Cards in Your Graveyard: 0

After:
[AP:23]
Deal damage equal to the number of units in your Graveyard +3 to 1 enemy unit.
If that unit is destroyed by this damage, additionally give your Hero +3 Life.
Units in Your Graveyard: 0
